And we do more than just sell name brand products. Since 1976, we’ve also provided expert service and repairs on everything we sell. If we sell it, we can fix it with honesty and integrity. Our services include seasonal service on all brands we sell, engine tune-up and complete rebuilds, accessory service and repair, and sharpening service. We offer prompt and effective repairs at a price you can afford.

Established in 1976, the story begins on a back road in Marshfield, Massachusetts working out of a garage where ABC Equipment Company was the inspiration of George Gorham, who aimed to offer the finest selection of heavy and light duty equipment found anywhere on the South Shore. In 1977, he bought the property at 844 Main Street (3A) and opened up shop with Husky being one of the first equipment lines offered.

Always expanding, George oversaw the construction of the current facility, which was completed in 1988, and 1) gave ABC the space to house all of its fine equipment lines, such as Husqvarna and Grasshopper, and 2) allowed them to embark on their next chapter by expanding their clothing department in 1989 to include such name brands as Carhartt and Grundéns.
In 2000, George’s sons Bill and Matt took the reins who, along with daughter Deb, continue to uphold the company policy of offering the finest selection of all types of equipment and apparel at a fair price. In 2002, ABC expanded once again to have an additional storage building constructed on the property.
And in the two decades since, they have continued to grow into the company that they are today and remain committed to the highest standards of quality and service.
